waiting for perfect feedstock and/or technology to build a biodiesel plant is much like waiting for the day you can buy the perfect computer/car (or any tech stuff for that matter) that will never become old/obsolete. that will never happen, there are several technologies/feedstocks known/tested to be working at this point in time you can choose from if planning on building a plant. when you decide to build something/anything you have to work with the technology/materials available at the time, the decision is
usually based on economical factors and profitability calculations down the road.

anything you build today most likely is going to be obsolete ten years down the road, also anything you build ten years from now is going to be obsolete 20 years down the road. the key imo is, when you decide to build something, allow flexibility in regards to upgrades that can be done later on.
