Longhorn I think the separation of Spooz and 141 has more to do with the National Future Association then anything else. A managed futures company has a tremendous amount of rules and laws they have to live with. Browse the NFA link http://www.nfa.futures.org/ and you'll see what I mean. 141 still has to compensate those high caliber employees with superior compensation while keeping their fees in line with the rest of the industry. There is a tremendous amount of competition in the field of managed futures funds. As far as 141 is concerned it's free money.
