I think the mobile referred to in the article means laptops, not small PDAs or Smartphones.

Currently I need to use software to perform these types of functions on the hand-held devices. If the operating system fails, then this software doesn't work, but many of these devices have a "factory reset" which helps a little bit if the device is/was backed up.

Having a hardware function to do this would interesting for both Corporations and the wireless carriers/providers. That's why I think this platform would be a total home run, while the PC OEM business is going to take a whole lot of selling by MRVL and then the PC manufactures to make this profitable.

Although, it is very cool technology!
