It was interesting that Gen Petraeus touted Anbar, Iraq as an example of a US success story...Anbar, as many know, has 5% of Iraq's population. In The Decider's mind, 5% is "kicking ass". Nobody mentioned Baghdad's situation, which this admin has said in the past is the "linchpin" to our success in Iraq. When The Decider visited last week, he flew into Anbar; his handlers wouldn't risk taking him to Baghdad.

Amazing...after +3,775 US military deaths and +24,500 US military injuries, just 5% of Iraq is now considered safe. And yet some actually take offense at the mention that our brave military are being USED by this admin as pawns. Go figure!
