One possibility

Is an inverter that plugs into and makes use of the power in the electrical brake system on pickup trucks that are set up to pull trailers (of the electrical brake kind). (That's quite a sentence).

That's my literal engineering take on "Tailgate Power". It would be a unique product. The cigarette socket power inverters are so "Me too".
