Several Companies Respond to Enigma Software Group's Cease and Desist Letters

STAMFORD, Conn., Aug 06, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Enigma Software Group, Inc. (ENGM, Trade ) received notice that Grisoft Inc., Bullguard, Bitdefender LLC, G Data, and Kaspersky Labs have each ceased detecting Enigma's SpyHunter program in their products as a security threat. Furthermore, Enigma has determined that CheckPoint, Fortinet, and Ikarus, which Enigma also contacted with respect to their detection of SpyHunter by their security products, each no longer detects Enigma's program. At this point, Enigma has no plans to pursue legal action against the companies that are cooperating by delisting SpyHunter from their security products.
Enigma will vigorously defend its position against all competitors, or group of competitors that falsely designate Enigma Software Group's SpyHunter product as a security threat.
