The problem with some of these dividend shares in a spin off is that much of the time, the spin off never starts trading. That has happened to me many times, so I no longer buy for a stock dividend. If its $$$, then yes, but stock dividends in a spin off are suspect at best. Not much downside on IDFR, as long as they don't R/S.
