Repeat of WHP03:

And for most of us our paper losses are significant, again compliments of the same folks mentioned above and our prior willingness to listen to their words rather than paying closer attention to the lack of movement of their feet, or lack their off.

I remember when I played football when I was younger the coach would say watch his belt (I played defense). If you watch your opponents head or upper body and tried to go in that direction it wasn't that hard to get faked out. The body has to follow what the waste and legs do. My point is - as the old saying goes - what their feet not their lips. If I had done more of that, as opposed to trusting the words (in print: PRs and emails from mgt, and the numerous verbal conversation I had with NVI representatives) I wouldn't be in the situation I am in now.

Yes, I pushed the buy button each and every time, but I did it based upon statements that I felt were true at the time, based upon trust. As you can see, NVI's mgt team no longer has that trust not because I have done anything to arrive at that position, but because of their repeated lack of performance; the type of performance that is clearly necessary to move this company forward.

Can that change - sure. Anything is possible. If I didn't think miracles can happen (literally) I'd take my high six-figure loss and move on. Like many, I'm not willing to do that yet. But I doubt I will carry any NVI stock into 2005, perhaps not even the 2nd half of 2004, unless NVI changes their ways dramatically.
