I read an article several days ago about the teaming of Sprint and Clearwire. They are taking a different approach than the other big Telecom players who are buying lots of air wave bandwidth in an upcoming government auction. They are trying to use their existing infrastructure and use this teaming agreement to expand their reach and revenues. Some of the analysts said it was a riskier approach but the payout could be much more.
