Balanced might be a better term for you to claim. That way you can "speculate on the negative side as much as you speculate on the positive side" . To be objective you would have to be interpreting actual statements and evidence, not just making stuff up.

I can speculate that somebody is a thief and liar, but I cannot claim it is objective unless I have real knowledge and evidence of such activity.

This of course is my opinion.
