It would be something if NV did not release news at the end of the year to let people take advantage of a good deal.

In other words: No news at end of year, people sell, price drops, people can't buy in for 30 days and other buyers get to take advantage of low share price.

If you don't have the time to do something right, where are you going to find the time to fix it?
