Thanks Biowatch. I'll have to see what these new insulin pens look like and what their pricing would be for full term use for myself. I've been using the old insulin vial and syringe standard for 20 years, and pre-draw any shots I may need for the day and carry them with my blood glucose test kit. The one advantage of the i-Pen in my mind is that I won't look so obvious if I need to give myself a shot in a public place. I actually reuse my syringes a few times which saves me a little money, and more so my insurer. Do these pens have an insulin resovoir in them? 15 ml?

I'm just curious though about the risks if a child happened to get into ones supplies and i-Pens. I would hope they have a locking device on the i-Pens??
