There's no way to tell if shares are fraudulent or not. They don't exactly have serial numbers on them. But shares entering the market CAN be traced.

If you didn't get a certified letter, then there is no need to do anything.

BCIT is using this suit as a stratagem to flush out the guilty culprits.......z
