Personally, I find it hard to believe that the "average hourly earnings" @ $17.22 an hour. As to the 180,000 I wish it was quantified with a "quality of job" index.
Maybe I just don't wear those rose colored glasses as I see an almost extinct $25+ an hour auto worker, outsourced manufacturing jobs, and new home construction coming to a halt.
