AMD ramp plans show much larger quantities of product hitting the street in Q1 and Q2, with volume crossover of K8 over K7 in Q2.

Where is the source for this AMD ramp plan or is this one of those "facts" based on pure speculation?

AMD may be able to get to 100 K for K8 in Q2. There is no way that AMD will ramp to the about 3.5 M processors per Q that would be required for a crossover by Q2. Most likely the crossover will occur in Q3 or perhaps Q2 of 2004.
