Internet Commerce Board Approves $2 Million for Share Buyback, Stock Rises in Morning Trading


NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) -- Internet Commerce Corp. said Wednesday its board approved the repurchase of $2 million in shares over the next 12 to 18 months.
At the stock's closing price Tuesday of $2.55, $2 million would buy about 784,000 shares, or 3 percent of the company's 25 million shares outstanding as of Jan. 31.

Shares of ICC rose 10 percent, or 3.9 percent, to $2.65 in morning trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
