Not necessarily. First the owner has to want to sell. And then a "value" is defined by how much the final agreed price is.
If there is a final price.

Hence sharestructure. Using the lack of a Merck buyout as some kind of reason to say that DNAPrint isn't worth it is
ignorant and shortsighted.

A lack of a buyout could actually mean the opposite. It could mean that DNAPrint values it's future enough to go out of the way to mmake sure it keeps 60 % of it's O.S. out of the hands of others. At any cost.
