Correct. If wireless speed is important, it is easy to substitute a g wirelss internal card for the Intel b wireless card. You can do this for about $20 as an option on the Dell web site.

All the benefits of the Pentium M and its chipsets remain. You just lose the Centrino label on the laptop supplied by the OEM. If you choose to upgrade the internal card later -- a smart decision until interoperability issues with g wireless are resolved -- you can even have your Centino label.
