Does anyone really believe the 7 MM's will allow full discovery. They may have 40 attorneys working to prevent it, but I'd be willing to bet they're also attempting to reach a settlement before Posner's ever able to look into their books.

In terms of where we are, I believe Slave1's excellent posts, it should be clear that they're working on the label. That means it's approved for something, they're apparently negotiating on exactly what, and how the label is to read.

I believe that a label that covers all brain cancers could be justified by the fact that during the trial GBM was redefined, some patients who entered the trial with GBM actually had cancers no longer identified as GBM which should be included. I believe all brain cancer patients would benefit, but time will tell what the UK does.

The UK's individual funding program will assure that others can get the vaccine and the more benefits that are seen, the easier it will be to get the vaccine until they officially change the label.

Here in the US, if sufficient anecdotal evidence exists for use in other cancers insurance will have to pay for the vaccine for off label use. Prior to that, patients may pay for the vaccine off label, if the benefits are clear they may sue to be reimbursed after the fact. Once there is legal precedence for getting the vaccine, others getting it shouldn't have a great deal of difficulty.
