I don’t understand why he is upset. He should be the happiest guy in the world. If he isn’t now, he will certainly have over a million in cash in his bank or brokerage account. I don’t get it. But anyone thinking the shares have any intrinsic value is crazy. The shares are worthless. There is no company, whatever was is bankrupt and liquidated. It’s gone, forever. This is lunacy. BioAmber is gone. No one can be that stupid I hope. Now, as a BioAmber shareholder, those shares have allowed you to be placed in a pool of other shareholders that are receiving a gift, via a directive through an estate of a former director that was smart enough to grab an asset that no one wanted, and made it private. This was sold and the proceeds are being spread all over for all kinds of reasons I won’t get into right now as I am sitting at the airport and want to go home. Be happy. You are getting a free gift. Pay it forward to the extent you are able, or spend it on yourself. You will feel better by making other people lives better too. I have no clue of your tax obligation. Mine is very complicated because of a loan and private investment many years ago. Hire a professional. Hire the best you can afford.

But the company is gone. Forever

That is not bashing or being negative

Those are facts

Don’t make it personal. I suggest everyone play nice until the funds have cleared into your accounts and cannot be taken back. (I don’t even know if that is possible) I don’t want to find out either, nor do I want to see any other loyal long legitimate shareholder get their funds yanked.

Just be happy and chill

But don’t be stupid. BioAmber is gone forever. Shares are worthless except as the vehicle for you to receive this gift

And those are the facts

Fung sent me 2 pages of tax issues which is above my GED level intelligence

Go hire a tax attorney NOW

Just my opinion
