The MHRA appears to be delaying the approval of DCVax-L, thus causing more UK citizens to die from brain cancers than would die if DCVax-L were approved on a timely basis.
Here is an interesting comparison, per ChatGPT. About 7 people die every day in the UK from brain cancer. That's a death rate about 1/3 the death rate of US combat deaths in the Vietnam war. UK members of parliament should find that comparison appalling. MHRA should find it appalling. If the UK were involved in combat operations with a death rate 1/3 that of the Vietnam war, citizens would be climbing the walls of parliament demanding an end to the combat. Why aren't members of parliament demanding MHRA move more quickly?
Maybe there is a good reason for the delay. If so, then MHRA should tell the UK citizens and parliament why so many extra deaths are ok with MHRA, in full detail. If not, then it must be bureaucratic bs. Be up front about the reasons for the delay, MHRA.
