From July 1, 2025, OTC Pink Current will become OTCID Basic Market and everything else will either be Pink Limited Market or Expert Restricted Market.

Only those that meet the standard for OTCID Basic Market will have a relationship - and therefore fees due to - otcmarkets.com. It has not yet been stated exactly what the qualifications for that are.

However, the rest, Pink Limited Market and Expert Restricted Market, will be able to be traded via any broker-dealers willing to serve clients willing to trade these securities. At present, US-based broker dealers aren't allowed to quote for those on the Expert Market.

At present, tickers on Expert Market can be bought by traders using offshore accounts like Questrade or Speedtrader - and you can see that happening on at least 2 other tickers that are known to be coming back from Expert Market.

With so many OTC tickers going to Expert Markets in the OTC in 2025, it would be worthwhile US brokers quoting for them from July 1, 2025 and it remains to be seen which ones if any will.
