Interesting news; about 10 months ago, Dr. Missling was directly recruiting for a top level, Head of Neurology position. I had long been curious about what happened to this role and it now looks like Woltgang Liedtke has joined the team in that important position. Dr. Liedtke most recently was the Global Development - Scientific Council:
Chair of Neurology at Regeneron, and is currently a Professor of Neurology at Duke University School of Medicine, as well as a Senior Advisor to the Davos Alzheimer's Collaborative. You might recognize him as having recently made some very supportive comments on both Anavex posts and original posts about blarcamesine on LinkedIn.
This information comes via the attached listing for a seminar he is leading at the 4th Annual ALS Drug Development Summit, May 12-14. I wonder if Anavex is planning on announcing his joining the team either at the
Q2 call this week or sometime around it?
