Cannons not found can be assumed……

a) to be removed prior to scuttling
b) lost overboard and not yet found
c) removed to make room for cargo
d) found and quietly removed
e) put into the water elsewhere to serve as a makeshift anchor and then lost away from the resting place of the ballast pile
f) taken by aliens
g) something else

But none of these distractions matter if the technology puts them onto Au/Ag and they bring it up.

If by chance lala land dreams do come to fruition and that does happens, I’m wondering how the 3 amigos will spin it to explain precious metals from a scuttled ship with no treasure. Probably SFRX is planting some encrusted mid 1500’s era bullion that they have been slowly buying from Amazon?

Either the tech works and they’re on something, or it works and there’s nothing to find, or it doesn’t work and there’s something there but they can’t see it, or it doesn’t work and there’s nothing there.

You can answer the questions about it working by testing in shallow water. If this has been done and it works and the technology is indicating targets of interest, I think I’d just give it a chance before being so adamant.

Time will tell and liars will ultimately be exposed.
