In order to have an SWF, one needs to fill it with assets. Some of the original concepts were gold (shot down), TikTok (not happening), Ukraine Mineral deal (done and a real possibility, gov't stake in GSEs (Bessent agreed that's a real possibility) and land sales. I believe the mineral deal was resurrected and forced down Ukraines throat so they could announce the SWF in their pronounced timeline. One would imagine that other contemplated assets to be included would be announced simultaneously. The most recent report on capital adequacy coming soon as well so might get announcement on lowered cap requirements. Tax bill signing will lead directly into what Bessent has already said will be most significant policy move by a President in generations (creation of an SWF). Stuff is finally aligning.
