You do not understand business.

If a commodity like blarcamesine is priced so high that the average person cannot afford to take the treatment, then only the very rich 1% can afford to take the treatment.

We want and need to expand the population that can use the treatment from the 1% to as close as possible to the whole population, then the profits will follow.
