I went to high school with Eddie Fisher. Capitol Hill High, in OKC. His father was an assistant coach, on our baseball team.. At the end of Eddie's soph year, his father took the job of head baseball coach, at a small town in SW Oklahoma, Friendship.

Papa Fisher invited Capitol Hill to friendship for a game. At the time Capitol Hill was in a 66 game winning streak.

Eddie pitched for Friendship and beat my guys 2 - 1. Another major leaguer , Don Demeter, also played for Capitol Hill.
