Rizzo never turned into the anchor at first that the Yankees hoped for when he signed. I remember how he was supposed to crush HRs by the dozens into the short RF porch. Just didn't happen. And defensively, the disasterous 5th inning in the WS highlighted his limitations when it comes to moving. 'Long in the tooth" IMO, especially at the option price of 17 million. Can't feel too bad for the guy - 6 million $$ is a helluva payday to not play.
