I’m invested $20k pre ipo at a not particularly cheap price of $34 a share which is a valuation of about 7b. I came across it a while ago and I think they have a lot of potential albeit they don’t sell chips like nvidia , only full systems . They are basically supercomputers for ai and are probably about 2-3 million each and seem to cluster well . I think the largest one they have done had 64 for a cost of about 100m so they need large budget customers . I’m not particularly worried about what seems to be most people’s main concern which is their reliance on g42 . I imagine they got a great deal and won’t have much incentive not to continue being a customer especially as they will probably end up owning about 10% of cerebras.

I’m tied in for a year I think , it’s my first pre IPO investment. In my own opinion hype will cause an initial bump and I’m watching to see if it crashes after , if it does I’ll buy more but at the moment 20k is plenty for me on a risky bet.

Don’t know why they deleted, I imagine as the production was a bit low effort but I loved the boffin and her enthusiasm and the bit about the “very clever and very patented rubber sheet”
