Would this be so the merging company can take a controlling interest you think? In my limited experience I have seen people say that is a typical move for when there is a merger as the company coming in needs to be able to secure a stock position somehow that gives them a controlling interest. At the very least something has finally happened with SPOM to let us know the company is still alive.
