What It's Like Inside a Flying Car in China

Flying cars, once thought to be the stuff of science fiction, are becoming a reality, particularly in New York, where companies are planning to link the city centre to airports in just a few minutes. In China, the Ehang company is aiming to launch the first commercial unmanned flying taxi this year, a market that Morgan Stanley estimates has a trillion-dollar potential.
Bloomberg's Colum Murphy tested one of these prototypes and describes the experience as initially frightening. He says that the vehicle's almost spider-like appearance may seem unsettling at first, but over time a sense of stability and security sets in. He stresses that acceptance of this means of transport will depend on the personality and risk profile of each individual, and manufacturers will have to convince people of the safety of these devices.
