Methinks, in the article linked from the first article it talks about HSMs as a solution for this problem! Why not use the built in TPMs in this situation!! And Wave had a deal with American Megatrends for the use of the TPM with UEFI!! Doesn’t Wave and the TPM seem to be the missing link for better security? The TPMs are built in and HSMs are not!! Why not activate TPMs and use Wave’s software and American Megatrends in this situation?? Maybe Microsoft wants us to use HSMs which cost money and lock us in to that security!!? Wave is interoperable!!
