I can't imagine. If they did it was someone on his own and he didn't buy much. And these guys would be too ashamed to admit to a friend that they invested in an OTC stock. I have a very old friend who's spent his entire career in asia underwriting deals for startups. Those deep pockets don't do anything for under 50 million.

When I asked him about Kraig labs a decade ago, he wouldn't give it a hearing. Immediately he dismissed it as bullshit. His exact words were, "there are billions of dollars sitting around just waiting to drop money on the next big thing in biotech. the fact that this company had to go begging for money on the OTC means it's worthless." Alrighty then... so i dropped the subject. A couple years later when we talked again, he said (unsolicited) "tell me you don't still own that spider silk stock". I laughed it off and said, "not to worry... I'm good." which meant nothing but he thought i was saying that i was out.

Just so happens that I met with him for breakfast this spring. I was tempted to bring it up again given recent news. I didn't bother. He's got plenty of money now anyway. I'll catch him next time he's back in the USA and if KBLB has made the leap to the NAZ, I'll definitely bring it up then.

The top spider silk scientist in the world stabbed Kim in the back and forced him onto the OTC. There's no doubt in my mind that Kim wants to stick it to all these deep pockets that dismissed him as a crackpot thanks to the former collaborator/top spider silk scientist.

So when will the deep pockets be noticing? The only way to grab the attention of the real money is to secure a government contract or cut a deal with a huge company. They'll listen then. It's not just a credible production timeline those guys are waiting for, they are waiting for a credible witness to say they've pulled it off. And I don't think Kings will be enough to attract global attention. Hope I'm wrong.

I'll stop here before I turn this into another Kings bashing post. (but Walter still couldn't manage to give an attaboy to Kim after Monday's PR)
