WQLF SAYS: Now that Just Eggs seems to be the major competition. What is the advantage Veggs has over their product. JUST EGGS 🥚 is a liquid, and Veggs is a powder. In other words every product from Cultured Foods appears to be manufactured in Poland. 🇵🇱 and will be imported to USA, as is All the other markets that they import to.

JUST EGG

For opened Just Egg [1], it’s best to use it within 4 days when stored in the fridge.

But if you have an unopened carton, you can still enjoy it for about 1 to 2 weeks past its sell-by date if kept in the refrigerator.”

If you’re looking for a longer-term solution, consider freezing. Opened Just Egg can last around 2 to 3 months in the freezer, while unopened cartons can maintain their quality for the same duration.”

“Plant based powdered eggs shelf life

Plant-based powdered eggs are a convenient and shelf-stable alternative to traditional eggs. The shelf life of plant-based powdered eggs can vary depending on the storage conditions and packaging. Here are some general guidelines:

Up to 25 years: According to some sources, plant-based powdered eggs can have a shelf life of up to 25 years when stored properly in airtight containers under anaerobic conditions.
5-10 years: Other sources suggest that plant-based powdered eggs can last for 5-10 years when stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
No refrigeration required: Unlike liquid eggs, plant-based powdered eggs do not require refrigeration, making them a great option for emergency food supplies or camping trips.
It’s essential to note that the shelf life of plant-based powdered eggs may vary depending on the specific product and manufacturer. Always check the packaging or manufacturer’s instructions for specific storage and shelf life information.

Storage Tips:

Store plant-based powdered eggs in airtight containers to prevent moisture and oxygen from entering the container.
Keep the containers in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Avoid exposing the powdered eggs to extreme temperatures or humidity.
Check the product regularly for any signs of spoilage or contamination.
By following proper storage and handling procedures, you can enjoy the convenience and shelf life of plant-based powdered eggs for a longer period.“
