Yeps. And Fred bailed him out of at least two personal bankruptcies. In 2016 motivation, money, attention and power. Now more than anything his pursuit of the presidency would be to at least put himself into the position of being able to pardon himself. Finding himself incarcerated instead of being in that position would be one of the pinnacles of the American justice system since African-Americans got the vote.
