Wheat price spike reflects war in Ukraine, given that Ukraine and Russia used to supply ~25% of the world’s wheat supply. Hard to grow and export it when you are getting bombed and having land mines, rather than wheat, planted on a regular basis.

They’ve since agreed to allow a limited shipment overseas, if only to avoid starvation in other countries.
