Yep, totally insane.
When I first started playing golf 20 years ago, I remember my year-over-year progression was in increments of only a few strokes year to year, from high/mid/low 90's through 80's until I leveled off. If someone told me that I, or the average golfer, could have accelerated their rate of improvement by three or four years, I'd say "you're insane".
The game isn't that easy to think any product could have that effect on one's game.
I'd be willing to bet Jack played a whole lot more than he used to after getting his new clubs and his improvement was more the result of developing his technique and establishing muscle memory.
