IMO I believe AA had good reason to settle the Allegheny Case as quickly as possible. He needs the R/S to shut down the bankruptcy thesis that shorts are hanging on. He needs to desperately improve his balance sheet and general profitability of company. The service on the 5$B debt is enormous......apparently the resolution of the Allegheny case will be delayed based on courts actions yesterday....therefore IMO I believe AA will be selling ape shares to generate cash....if you look at financials his cash reserve as it currently exists is not healthy considering the expenses on their statements.... AA sole goal at this point IMO is to turn around AMC and make them profitable or more solvent.....again just another opinion...
