I just finished watching Tar. I say "I' because the spousal_unit fell asleep a half hour into it.
I was intrigued at the beginning, as I've never considered how much goes into the process of conducting but then it just turned into the female version of the Harvey Weinstein story.
How is this an Oscar worthy movie? Cate Blanchett did her usual credible job, but I didn't really care.
I consider surviving 'til the end worthy of an award.

Just my opinion, of course.
