Any such lawsuits will not likely derail the announced transactions. Where is the evidence of fraud? There are strong arguments that everyitng is in the best interests of shareholders and reducing the huge mountain of debt which has been crushing AMC.

The greater likelihood of lawsuits against AA and AMC is with regard to the ill-guided investment in Hycroft (HYMC), in which AMC is now (-64%). With HYMC trading at .43 and edging down ever closer to the .30 range where HYMC traded as it teetered on the brink of going out of business or Bankruptcy, just one week before AA and AMC paid a whopping $1.198 per share for its investment in shares of HYMC, things are getting uglier by the day with regard to AMC's huge investment in HYMC and the resulting heavy losses for AMC/APE shareholders.
