I think there is a sinister element at play, dlog. Covid has spawned a multitude of associated indications, which must be dealt with. This has distracted effort from focusing on covid, especially milder cases of covid. But it's this lack of control over covid that has dysregulated our immune response. The effect is seen in "excess deaths" caused by these covid-associated indications, with focus shifted away from covid, and directed to these associated indications. Either way, Americans, more than anybody else, are falling victim to these diseases.

It's going to be hard to fight a war, when we can't meet even peace-time recruitment quotas. Do you think this generation would comply with a re-instated draft?
