HUD and DOJ have been derelict for years (nay decades) in making this happen.

So Congress is going to ask another useless regulatory agency, with too many employees doing nothing FHFA to suddenly do it.

If so charged, I am sure FHFA --and its already ineffective Drriector Sandra Thompson would seek an additional 500 employees (and demand new office space for same) and fail as flat at Justice and HUD have.

Likely this scheme won't pass the Senate Banking Committee and certainly not in the House.
