It's akin to the third class on the Titanic arguing that there is no water in the ship and that it is entirely normal that the ship is tilting it's a brilliant management strategy, and that it is not worrying that the Captain and all its officers have already left the boat on the best lifeboats, and that it was a great captain, not a thief, just ambitious, and that the mate who criticized the captain on the port was incompetent, and this iceberg story is completely fake, and passengers calling them to come on the lifeboats are "bashers" paid by some giant conspiracy involving every other ship but the Titanic, to incitate the third class to abandon the boat but if they stay onboard they will become rich, rich, rich.
