I just came from the grocery store here in Vail Az. I met an old vet named Rick who was way in the thick of it in 65-69. (USMC) He appreciated telling his story to another veteran. I was an Army feller (1973-1993), and was no where near any kind of danger ever. But. He could feel that I understood him none the less. I always tell my wife that these old fellers that went through it loved their comrades, 'cause they literally depended on them for their lives.
