I don't believe it costs thousands as applying for a custo is more like 250 bucks total.
The fees for nev is at last checking well under a thousand. But the nev no longer lists the amounts of tax and biz fees. They used to, but likely from scam corp prodding, stopped showing many details. All State sites are doing this however.

Do a search for those guys to learn much more.
