If you committed a murder, a DUI or other crime you would likely be competent to stand trial as you're not insane. Seems to me your documented/ dignosed mental disabilities --when unmedicated-- cause you to need to create an elaborate, grandiose, improbable identity for yourself that fills an emptiness or other need you have.

Aside from that, Asperger's syndrome often causes people to misread or misjudge social situations, social appropriateness, and/or the intentions of others.

So, all combined Eddie met with you in person, introduced you to his backers, corresponded with you, conducted DD on you and decided YEP..this is someone whose business I want to acquire, whose "reality show" I want to finance, who I want to quote and cite by name in official PR's, and who I want to manage a valuable subsidiary of my public company.

Either HE's equally grandiose and incompetent (which his PR's clearly prove) or he's a cold, calculating con-man which his actions also prove.
