If the compensation was not provided, then the contract was never consummated and it would be easy for Barry to get his company back.

I think Barry asserts that he gave his company to Eddie in good faith, that Eddie didn't compensate him for it, and that Eddie destroyed it in the process.

However, all that seems to pale by comparison now that Eddie has apparently lied to the court when he claimed he --with all the "assets" of both himself and plaintiff PRPM and subsidiary BDGR-- couldn't afford to pay for a psychiatric evaluation of Barry and, instead, placed that financial burden on the court.

So either Eddie and his tickers are just that broke... or he just screwed himself. I can't see any other option.
