CEO Vicki Holub saw OXY shareholders pay a devastating price in turning to Berkshire loan shark financing for the Anadarko acquisition, which would have gone to Chevron, had OXY not decided to richly overpay.

Buffett and Anadarko shareholders won. Others not so much.

We've run out of other people's Social Security taxes needed to subsidize our low income tax rates.
