I've seen that claim before, however we know it's complete bullshit from IPIX' own press release:

"There was also no difference in mortality between active and placebo, with both groups experiencing low mortality rates (7 percent)"

The fact that 93% of all patients survived (irrespective of whether they received brilacidin or not) speaks to the fact that these patients were more on the moderate end of the scale rather than severe, and to the efficacy of standard of care (primarily remdesivir and dexamethasone, I imagine).

Certainly not "barely warm corpses"!
