Thanks, I've tended to compare the way the unit works being similar to the I.V. pumps used in the hospital. At no time does the pump touch anything but the tubes and while hospitals are kept clean, I cannot ever remember anyone sanitizing those pumps. I can understand requirements where any contamination is possible, as I understand the disposable cassette I don't know how it can be contaminated.
